1. Essential storage

Secure server session cookies keep signed-in users authenticated. Short-lived OAuth state cookies protect Google and Apple sign-in. Session storage may retain the selected reading flow while the browser leaves for authentication. These functions are necessary to provide the requested service.

2. Payment providers

Stripe or PayPal may place their own cookies or use similar technologies when their checkout components load. Their notices govern that provider-controlled activity.

3. First-party visit measurement

FateFollow measures page and product activity through its own server endpoint. This measurement does not set an analytics cookie or use browser storage to recognize you across visits. A random identifier exists only for the current page session; the server keeps broad source, device and language categories rather than a full referral URL or user-agent string. Visit records are retained for up to 30 days. We do not use advertising trackers. If optional cookies or other tracking technologies are added, this notice and any required consent controls will be updated before they are enabled.

4. Browser controls

You may block or delete cookies in your browser, but blocking essential storage can prevent sign-in, payment confirmation or access to saved readings.
